Type to Learn 4 is a great Typing programs that allows students to practice their keyboarding skills at their own pace and at their own level. The web-based version, if purchased by the school, allows students to install on their home computers. Students are given a username and password and can log in to their TTL4 account at home to continue their keyboarding practice. There are many lessons that teacher all aspects of the keyboard and each lesson has a set of games that students can play. So far I've only used Prezi to introduce our 3rd and 4th graders to the First Lego League. Prezi is a very unique and different type of presentation tool. Some say it makes them dizzy, but I find it fascinating. It beats the ancient PowerPoint.

This seems SO MUCH easier than using Pages and even iBook Author. Especially for younger students!

I've been using this tool professionally and personally for about 2 years now. I've just started introducing the faculty and staff and my school to Google Docs and we having starting using it for Accreditation purposes. Teachers share and collaborate on documents for Accreditation. A few of the grade levels at my school are also starting to use Google Docs to share and collaborate on documents during their grade level meetings and in between.
